About Shane Zaring

With a career built on discipline, integrity, and leadership, I bring a unique background to real estate that few professionals can match. I am a retired Deputy Sheriff with extensive law-enforcement experience that included Patrol, Field Training Officer, Detectives, Detective Training Officer, Gang Unit, SWAT, and Undercover Narcotics. Throughout my service, I was honored as both Officer of the Year and Detective of the Year, recognitions that reflect my commitment to excellence, accountability, and results.

Transitioning into real estate, I quickly established a reputation for performance and professionalism. I was named Rookie of the Year, then went on to become Keller Williams Realty – Coeur d’Alene’s Top Individual Agent year after year. My production ranked me in the Top 1% of agents in Idaho and the Top 3% across the five Northwest states, demonstrating consistent high-level success in competitive markets.

In 2022, I stepped into brokerage leadership as the Designated Broker of Keller Williams Realty – Coeur d’Alene, where I managed and mentored over 300 agents. Building on that experience, I founded The Experience Northwest real estate brokerage in 2024, serving both Idaho and Washington. Within its first year, the brokerage rose into the Top 10 brokerages in North Idaho, ranking #8 out of 180 brokerages—a testament to strong leadership, culture, and client results.

Today, I serve as both Operating Principal and Designated Broker of The Experience Northwest, overseeing more than 70 agents. My areas of specialization include real estate law, luxury properties, new construction, commercial real estate, and land development. Clients and agents alike value my strategic mindset, negotiation skills, and deep understanding of contracts and compliance—skills sharpened through years of investigative and tactical work in law enforcement.
 
The best part of my job is, I get to work with an amazing rising star, my daughter, Cassie Jo Zaring.
